Step-by-Step Alignment Guide
1. Open the Back Seal Bar
- Navigate to the back seal tab on your bagger’s control panel.
- Press the open/close button to extend the back seal bar into its open position.
2. Align the Film
- Take the film and align it with the back seal bar.
- If the film is not evenly aligned, adjust it by loosening the adjustment screws and moving it until it is parallel.
3. Adjust Left-to-Right Position
- Observe the alignment of the film on the left and right sides.
- If the film is misaligned, adjust the back seal bar by loosening the screws and moving it to the right or left as needed.
- Once aligned, lock the screws in place to secure the position.
4. Fine-Tune the Vertical Seal Bar
- With the back seal bar still in the closed position, bring the vertical seal bar in until the band stops moving.
- If the band is not moving, it indicates that the seal bar is too close.
5. Incremental Adjustments
- Incrementally open the vertical seal bar until the band starts moving again.
- This movement indicates that the seal bar is at the proper distance from the film.
6. Verify the Seal
- Tube the bag and observe the back seal.
- Ensure that the seal is consistent and free from any misalignment.
