Instead, we have interdepartmental, cross-functional bridges.”

Eric emphasizes the importance of these bridges, highlighting how engineering, production, and development teams interact regularly. “At any given point, engineering is talking to production, and production is consulting with development during the early stages of design,” he explains. Eric notes, “Cultivating these relationships is crucial at the early stages of those projects to ensure downstream quality.” By involving all relevant departments from the outset, Matrix ensures that potential issues are identified and addressed early, resulting in a smoother production process and higher-quality outcomes.
