Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide
1. Access the Product Timing Setting
- Navigate to the film pull setting on your bagger’s control panel.
- Locate the product timing option, which is measured in times 10 milliseconds.
2. Start with the Minimum Setting
- Begin by setting the product timing to the minimum value of 1.
- This initial step helps you understand the delay between the scale and the bagger.
3. Observe the Product Drop
- Run the bagger and observe how the product drops into the bag.
- If the product falls at the tail end and some pieces get caught at the top, it’s an indication that the timing needs adjustment.
4. Incrementally Adjust the Timing
- Increase the product timing setting incrementally. For instance, you can adjust it to 20 (equivalent to an extra 200 milliseconds).
- Test the bagger again and observe the product drop.
5. Achieve Optimal Product Placement
- Continue adjusting until the product consistently lands perfectly in the bottom of the bag, right where the jaws close.
- Proper timing ensures that every bag, regardless of speed, is clean with no product in the seal area.
